Tanya J. Johnson

Tanya J. Johnson was born February 14, 1965 in Dayton, OH and she passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 in Cookeville, TN as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident.  She was 58.

Tanya was the daughter of Jerry Edward Johnson and Wanda Sue Hollows Johnson.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Central Ave Church of Christ in Fairborn, OH.

She was preceded in death by her mother, brother Scott Edward Johnson and husband Steve Underwood.

Survivors include sons,  Jeremy Gilbert of OH, Ryan Underwood of OH; daughter, Carissa Miller of OH; father, Jerry Johnson of Xenia, OH; several grandchildren, other relatives and many friends also survive.

Visitation will be on Saturday,  December 23, 2023, 4-8 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Thursday December 28th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia, OH with Rev. John Lockwood officiating. Burial will follow in Byron Cemetery in Fairborn, OH. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Thursday until the time of service at the funeral home.
