Funeral services for Tammy Anderson, 54, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Peek Cemetery in the Harmony community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Saturday from 12 Noon until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Roane County Medical Center in Harriman, TN. She was born October 5, 1963, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Mattie Scantland and Roy Poston, Sr. She was a homemaker, and attended the Baxter Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Grandparents: George and Maggie Scantland, and Garvis and Julie Poston. Survivors include 1 Son: George Tyler Poston Scott of Cookeville, TN; 4 Brothers: Billy Joe Strong of Elizabeth City, NC, Jimmy Strong of Gainesboro, TN, Michael Poston of Gainesboro, TN, and Roy Poston, Jr. of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Sisters: Pam Crespo of Gallatin, TN, Lisa Fleming of Portland, TN, and Brandy Nash of Hilham, TN; Special Cousin: Brenda Henley of Cookeville, TN; and Special Friend: Bob Wilborn of Cookeville, TN.
