Funeral services for Mrs. Susie McCullars Flynt, 80, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Tyler, TX. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 P.M. - 8 P. M., and Tuesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born January 11, 1930, in Tyler, TX, to the late John A. and Cleo McCullars. In 1949, she was married to the late Rob Roy Flynt, who passed away March 23, 2010. She was a homemaker and political volunteer. She was a past member of the Hendersonville United Methodist Church, and a member of the Tennessee Embroiders Guild. Survivors include 3 Sons: Rodney Flynt of Amarillo, TX, John (Cathy) Flynt of Gainesboro, TN, and Tim Flynt of Wilmington, OH; 4 Grandchildren: John (Lacie) Flynt, Jeremy Flynt, Rena Flynt, and Regina Flynt; 1 Brother: James (Sue Ann) McCullars of Smith County, TX; and 2 Sisters: Mary Ann Curry and Jonnie Faye (Jim) Conine, all of Smith County, TX.
