Susan Kennedy

Susan Kennedy was born June 9, 1952, in Nashville, TN and she passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at her daughters residence in Carthage, TN, at the age of 69. She was the daughter of the late Malcolm Bowles and Betty Jo Bowles. On December 20, 1988, she was married to Barry Richard Kennedy, who survives. She was a bookkeeper and homemaker, and a resident of the North Springs community. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Jennifer Jo Stafford; Sisters: Nancy (Steve) Robinson and Patti (Steve) Underwood; and Daughter-in-Law: Miranda Kennedy. Survivors include her Husband: Barry Richard Kennedy of the North Springs community; Son: Trey (Brandi) Johnston of Pegram, TN; Step-Son: Ricky (Linda) Kennedy of the North Springs community; Daughter: Melinda (Shane) Brown of Carthage, TN; Step-Daughter: Rhonda (Frankie) Kennedy of Rickman, TN; Sister: Linda (Mark) Rennie of Hendersonville, TN; 13 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022, at 1 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 P.M. - 6 P.M., and Monday from 11 A.M. until time of services.
