Funeral services for Mrs. Sue Seat, 68, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, September 21, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove Community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Sunday from 9 A.M until time of services. Mrs. Seat passed away on Friday, September 19, 2008, at her residence in Gainesboro, TN. She was born November 16, 1939, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Claude and Zina Lou Petty Pippin. She was married to the late Joe Louis Seat. She was a retired nurse and was affiliated with the Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Jamie Sue Seat Seabolt; 2 Brothers: Ralph "Frosty" Pippin and Richard Pippin; 1 Sister: Peggy Pippin. Survivors include 2 Sons: Anthony Dale Seat of Ashland City, TN; and Randall Edward Seat of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Brother and Sister-in-law: Ray and Opal Pippin of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sisters and 1 Brother-in-law: Mary and Jerry Sisk of Gainesboro, TN; and Barbara Cunningham of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Special Nieces: Phyllis Heady and Kim Manning; Seven grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
