Stoney Lee Evins

Stoney Lee Evins was born February 8, 1966, in Gainesboro, TN and he passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center at the age of 56.

He was the son of the late James L. Evins and Barbara Hall Evins. He worked in tool and die, and at Dacco. He enjoyed classic cars and listening to music.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Brother: Timothy “Tim” James Evins.

Survivors include his Sons: Devon Evins and fiancée, Shelby Allen of Gainesboro, TN, and Dylan Evins and fiancée Megan Jackson of Gainesboro, TN; his Former Wife and the Mother of his children: Sharon Evins of Hilham, TN; and Grandchildren: Rylee Evins and Hudson Evins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 2 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, with Bro. Mike Ayers officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. Visitation will be Friday from 4 P.M. – 8 P.M., and Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to assist with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
