Stewart Minder

Mr. Stewart Minder, 90, of Pleasant Shade, TN, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018, at his residence. The family has chosen cremation. A memorial service with full military honors will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Battle Creek, MI, at a later date. He was born August 4, 1927, in Eastover, SC, to the late James Minder and Louise Minder. On April 17, 1983, he was married to Peggy Minder, who survives. He was a retired Sgt. First Class in the U.S. Army, and served during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: Solomon Minder; 3 Brothers: James, Francis, and Charles; and 4 Sisters: Mary, Estelle, Nora, and Bea. Survivors include his Wife: Peggy Minder of Pleasant Shade, TN; 3 Sons: Christopher Boling of Pleasant Shade, TN, Robert Boling of Bellevue, MI, and Aaron Boling of Niles, MI; 2 Daughters: Sheila Clark of Battle Creek, MI, and Mikelle Roberts of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Nieces: Pearline Carter, Delores Goodwin, Jackie Weeks, and Gladdice Pryor; 1 Nephew: Sam McMillian; 50 Grandchildren; and 20 Great Grandchildren.
