Funeral services for Steve Raines, 69, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021, at 2 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at his residence. He was born April 18, 1951, in Jackson County, TN, to Willene Raines and the late Joe Willard Raines. He was a retired factory worker. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his Children: Kelly Marlene and Bobby Joe; and Brother: Jimmy Raines. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Cayla Diane Raines of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Sisters: Jo Ann (Charles) Spurlock of Baxter, TN, Judy Phifer of Sparta, TN, and Shirley Allen of Gainesboro, TN; his Mother: Willene Raines of Gainesboro, TN; and Grandchildren: Jacaiden and Janiya Smith of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Rev. Bill Haney will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to assist with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
