Funeral services for Mr. Steve Morris Henley, 55, of Nashville, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, February 7, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Henley passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2009, in Nashville, TN. He was born November 25, 1953, in Jackson County, TN, to Billy J. and Dorothy Allen Henley. He was a farmer and of the Protestant faith. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Jack and Bertha Carter Henley and Leo and Mable Martin Allen; and 1 Brother: David Henley. Survivors include 1 Son: Greg Henley of Manchester, TN; 1 Daughter: Leanne Henley DeLaney of Manchester, TN; his Parents: Billy J. and Dorothy Allen Henley of Old Hickory, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Matt Henley, Destiny Henley, Ryan Hunter, and Brianna DeLaney; and 2 Sisters: Patricia Woodard and husband, Ralph, of Carthage, TN, and Stefanie Worley and husband, Roy, of Cumberland County, TN. Stacey Rector and Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Henley family by contacting the funeral home.
