Funeral services for Steve Craighead, 55, of Whitleyville, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, February 20, 2015, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Cubb Creek Cemetery in the Cubb Creek community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born November 15, 1959, in Toledo, Ohio, to Geraldine Sisco Craighead and the late Dallas G. Craighead. On July 24, 1979, he was married to Teresia Craighead, who survives. He was a tool technician at Pro-Tech in Lebanon, TN. He loved the outdoors and was a talented gardener. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Arnold and Estelle Craighead; his Maternal Grandparents: Willie Fred and Nannie Byrd Sisco; and several special aunts and uncles. Survivors include his Wife: Teresia Craighead of Whitleyville, TN; 1 Daughter: Brandy Craighead Scott of Whitleyville, TN; Special Nephew: Michael W. Craighead of Cookeville, TN; his Mother: Geraldine Sisco Craighead of Whitleyville, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Ryan Dennis and Bryttne Scott; 2 Brothers: Michael K. Craighead of Whitleyville, TN, and Dallas G. (Jackie) Craighead, Jr. of Centerline, Michigan; Special Uncles and Aunts: Willie Hugh Sisco, Jimmy and Mary Dudney, Pauline Russell, and Shirley Mitchell; and his In-laws: Loyd and Lois Walker.
