Stella Ruth Lawson

Funeral services for Stella Ruth Lawson, 75, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, May 22, 2011, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Sunday from 1 P.M. until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2011, at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN. She was born December 15, 1935, in Jackson County, TN, to the late William K. Lawson and Ova G. Lawson. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Hurricane Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Cecil Lawson, James "Wink" Lawson, and Walter Fowler "Hooch" Lawson; and 2 Sisters: Bonnie Eugene Lawson and Thelma Aline Craven. Survivors include 1 Brother: Harley Lawson of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Sisters: Virginia Burris of Gainesboro, TN, and Lee Hajdasz of Bloomington Springs, TN.
