Funeral services for Mr. Stanley D. Sneed, 60, of Whitleyville, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Minchey Cemetery on East Fork Road in Whitleyville, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10 A.M. - 9 P. M., and on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2010, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. He was born January 23, 1950, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Thomas J. Sneed and Lizzie Carver Sneed. He was a member of the Beech Grove Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Ward Gray Sneed; 1 Infant Brother; and 2 Infant Sisters. Survivors include 4 Brothers: L.T. Sneed and Bill Sneed, both of Whitleyville, TN; Vestle Sneed of Pleasant Shade, TN; and Evart Sneed of Indianapolis, IN; and 3 Sisters: Georgie Stafford of Whitleyville, TN, Cleametine Witcher of Indianapolis, IN, and Dorthula Vanderpool of Goodlettsville, TN.
