Stan Hensley

Funeral services for Mr. Stan Hensley, 52, of Bloomington Springs, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, February 13, 2011, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Cookeville, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 A.M. until 9 P.M., and on Sunday from 12 Noon until time of services. He passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2011, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born March 30, 1958, in Sandusky, Ohio, to the late Bill G. Hensley and Margaret Lucille Smallwood Hensley. On December 15, 1978, he was married to Donna Jo Flatt Hensley, who survives. He was the minister of the North Springs Church of Christ, and a former member of the Jackson County Board of Education. Survivors include his Wife: Donna Jo Flatt Hensley of Bloomington Springs, TN; 4 Sons: Mark (Sheila) Hensley of Cookeville, TN, Martin Ross Hensley of Cookeville, TN, Morgan Hensley of Bloomington Springs, TN, and Mason Hensley of Cookeville, TN; 3 Daughters: Miranda (Robby) Stepp of Baxter, TN, Marissa Hensley of Bloomington Springs, TN, and Makenzie Ladonna Hensley of Bloomington Springs, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Emma Claire Stepp, Tylus Stepp, and Avery Stepp; his Mother-in-Law: Carlene Flatt of Bloomington Springs, TN; 1 Brother: Steve (Linda) Hensley of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister: Anita Revalee of Madison, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Randy Bybee will officiate at the services.
