Funeral services for Shirley Stacy, 68, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Stacy Cemetery in the Old Antioch community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born January 7, 1946, in Owingsville, KY, to the late Samuel Griffin and Alma Griffin. She was a grocery clerk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Jamey Stacy; 1 Daughter: Shelly Stacy; and her Aunt: Gertrude Brumingen. Survivors include 1 Son: Frankie (Jamie) Stacy of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Cassie (John) Pigg of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Shelby, Justin, Aaron, and Kara; 1 Sister-in-Law: Carolyn Justice of OH; her Special Friend: Jacquie Flynn of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Nieces: Tonya Montgomery and Tina Adkins.
