Funeral services for Shirley Madge Wheeler, 61, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, January 19, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Wheeler Family Cemetery on Dry Fork Road in Granville, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born May 17, 1952, in Jackson County, TN, to Louis Morgan Wheeler and the late Madge Clark Wheeler. She was a cook's assistant, and a member of the Sycamore Church of Christ. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Shelia Wheeler Phillips; Maternal Grandparents: Willie E. and Anna Ragland Clark; and Paternal Grandparents: William R. and Minnie Kirby Wheeler. Survivors include her Father: Louis Morgan Wheeler and wife, Iris, of Granville, TN; 1 Sister: Tracy Luann Wheeler Wakefield and husband, Jonathan, of Katy, TX; 3 Nieces: Brianna Wakefield, Chasity Howard, and Ashley Phillips; and 1 Nephew: Ian Michael Wakefield.
