Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Lee Spivey Cox, 67, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016, at St. Thomas Highlands Hospital in Sparta, TN. She was born May 29, 1949, in Dayton, Ohio, to Grace Imogene Spivey and the late Sammie Lee Spivey. She was a receptionist in the insurance and real estate industries. Survivors include 2 Sons: Tommy Lee Jones and his wife, Cathy of Baxter, TN and Timothy Allen Jones and his wife, Peggy of Sparta, TN; Her Mother: Grace Spivey of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Sister: Brenda Anderson of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Christopher Allen Jones and Ashley Jones; and 1 Great-Grandchild: Keaton Olivia Jones.
