Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Ann Dailey Heady, 65, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 P.M. to 9 P.M., and Thursday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born June 18, 1950, in Jackson County, TN, to the late John Dailey and Daisey Lynn Dailey. She was married to John I. "Pip" Heady, who survives. She was an assembly line worker at Fleetguard, and a member of the Burristown Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 6 Brothers: Garland, Clyde, Bill, Hugo, Jack, and Ray Dailey; and 1 Sister: Hazel Allen. Survivors include her Husband: John I. "Pip" Heady of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Scotty Heady of Gainesboro, TN, and fiance, Brandi Brazle; 1 Daughter: Genia Heady Vanhooser and Brandon Holland of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Andrea Vanhooser (Zach) Womack, Brian "B.J." Vanhooser, and Kloey Brazle; 3 Great Grandchildren: Clara Womack, Ryker Womack, and Maddox Vanhooser; 3 Brothers: Rod (Pat) Dailey of SC, John (Betty) Dailey, Jr. of Gainesboro, TN, and J.B. Dailey of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Sisters-in-Law: Gail Dailey of Sweetwater, TN, and Betty Jean Dailey of Celina, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital by contacting the funeral home.
