Shirley Ann Smith

Shirley Ann Smith was born June 15, 1957, in Tompkinsville, KY, and she passed away at her residence in Gainesboro, TN, on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at the age of 64. She was the daughter of the late Charles Haskell Hunter and Ora Jean Jackson Hunter. On April 16, 1988, she was married to Dennis Smith, who survives. She worked in tax preparation. Survivors include her Husband: Dennis Smith of Gainesboro, TN; Daughters: Tonya (Dewayne) Michelle Hamlet of Gainesboro, TN, and Melinda (Jerry Donathan) Sue Wiley of Gainesboro, TN; Grandchildren: Alana Carolee Faith Hamlet, Samuel Dwayne Wiley, Garrett Lee Wiley, and Whitney Annalee Grace Hamlet; and Special Pet: Bubba. Her wishes were to be cremated with no services and the family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
