Sherry Guess Warden

Funeral services for Sherry Guess Warden, 62, of Granville, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 P.M. - 9 P. M., Tuesday from 1 P.M. to 9 P.M. and on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013, at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was born October 26, 1951, in Jackson County, TN to Nell Tayse Guess and the late Dave Guess. On July 20, 1974 she was married to Ted Warden, who survives. She worked at Nielsen & Bainbridge for 28 years and was a member of the Whitleyville Church of Christ. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: James Guess and Rubin Guess and 1 Sister: Donia Mai Guess. Survivors include Her husband: Ted Warden of Granville, TN; 1 Son: David Warden of Granville, TN; 1 Daughter: Robyn and her husband, Chad Mull of Granville, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Colby Mull and Charley Mull; her Mother: Nell Guess of Granville, TN; 1 Brother: Charles Guess of Detroit, Michigan; 4 Sisters: Lorain Guess of Granville, TN; Helen and her husband, Bill Wade of Nashville, TN; Juanita and her husband, H.C. Grisham of Nashville, TN; and Sharon Aldrich and Dwight Henderson of Hermitage, TN. Bro. Tom Bilbrey will officiate at the services.
