Funeral services for Sherri Allen, 61, of the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN, will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at 10 A.M. at the Cummins Mill Baptist Church on Cummins Mill Road. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born August 14, 1959, in Louisiana to Vergie Wells Daniels and the late Jesse Edgar Daniels. She was married to Ronnie J. Allen, who survives. She was retired from working in financial aid at TTU, and was a member of the Cummins Mill Baptist Church. Survivors include her Husband: Ronnie J. Allen of Cookeville, TN; Daughter: Janie Marie Hicks-Harris and husband, Ashly Harris, of Mendenhall, MS; 2 Sisters: Brenda (Jerry) Hocutt of Florence, MS, and Darlene (Jim) Baker of Brandon, MS; her Mother: Virgie Daniels of Pearl, MS; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Bro. Bill Haney will officiate at the services.
