Shelia Bowman Collins

Shelia Bowman Collins was born November 22, 1963, in Jackson County, TN

and she passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at her residence in Gainesboro

at the age of 59.

On April 26, 1986, she was married to Jeff Collins, who survives. She worked as

a secretary, but her most important job was being “She-She” to her grandkids. She was a

member of the Whitleyville Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her Father: Claude Roy Bowman; and Sam Poteet.

Survivors include her Husband: Jeff Collins of Gainesboro, TN; Daughters:

Kasey (Joe) Grounds of Gainesboro, TN, and Kayla (Chris) Cantrell of Granville, TN;

Sister: Connie (Glynn) Warden of Gainesboro, TN; her Mother: Carol Poteet of

Gainesboro, TN: Bettye Bowman of Cookeville, TN; and

Grandchildren: Kennedy Quinn, Delia Cantrell, and Case Cantrell.

The family has chosen cremation, with a private memorial service at a later date.
