Funeral services for Sharon Stafford, 57, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, October 29, 2020, at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. Bro. Matthew Scoggins will officiate the service. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born August 28, 1963, in Gainesboro, TN, to the late Benton Edward Tinsley and Mary Iris Dailey Tinsley. She worked as a CNA, and was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Connie Locke. Survivors include 2 Daughters: Beth (Barry) Hammock of Gainesboro, TN, and Brianna Brooke (Cory Parham) Stafford of Knoxville, TN; 1 Brother: Jimmy (Kathy) Tinsley of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Sisters: Janice Locke, Mamie (Joey) Hunter, Bonnie Locke, and Betty (Jim) Sizemore, all of Gainesboro, TN; Grandchildren: Brycen Hammock and Brayden Hammock, both of Gainesboro, TN; Best Friend: Carol Wilson; other relatives, and many friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to assist with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
