Scotty Tucker was born on June 9, 1968 in Cookeville, TN and he passed away at HCA Houston Southeast Hospital in Pasadena, TX on Monday, September 25, 2023 at the age of 55.
Scotty was son of James William Tucker and Nina Arline Tucker. He was of Baptist faith. He was a resident of the Dodson Branch Community. On September 19, 2009 he was married to Angelia Sue Wheeler.
Preceded in death by his parents, James William Tucker and Nina Arline Tucker; brothers, Jimmy Tucker, Tony Tucker, Terry Mark Hill and Jerry Wayne Hill, Sr., sister-in-law, Priscilla Wheeler Applebee; father-in-law, Bobby Gene Wheeler and son Dustin Daniel Buck.
Survived by his wife, Angela Sue Wheeler Tucker of Cookeville, grandson, Braylon Ledbetter Buck of Cookeville; sister and siter in law, Mandy Hill and Carrie Ann of Auburntown; Uncle Charles Tucker of Lugoff, SC, aunt, Betty Tucker of Dunbar, SC, uncle Leroy Krantz of Joelton, TN; brother and sister in law, Eugene and Connie Wheeler; mother-in-law, Barbara Goolsby Wheeler of Gainesboro. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends including Meryl Burrough Marley
Scotty was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend to all who knew him. He was an active millrite worker. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and of course all his dogs over the years. He graduated from Jackson County High School in 1987. Scotty enjoyed telling a good joke, and always knew how to put a smile on anyone's face.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 30, 2023, 2-8 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home and again on Sunday 10 am to 2 pm. Funeral Services will be on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Rev. Clayton Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Lynn Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Grandson, Braylon Ledbetter Buck college fund by contacting the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Braylon Ledbetter Buck, Dylan Wheeler, Jerry Wayne Hill, Jr., Terry Hill, Luke Hill, Josh Hill, Tommy Elder, Austin Wheeler and Davey Watson.
