Funeral services for Savannah F. Allen, 74, of the Seven Knobs community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 10 A.M. on Friday, April 5, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the West Cemetery in Putnam County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M. She passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 in Fairview, TN. She was born August 17, 1938, in White County, TN, to the late William Cordell Allen and Louecretia Elizabeth Smith. She was married to the late James Bruce Allen. She was a laundry clerk, and a member of the Cummins Mill Baptist Church. She was the treasurer of the Anderson - Allen Cemetery, and an avid hummingbird enthusiast. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: William Allen, Jr.; 1 Daughter: Denise Buhl; and the Father of her Children: Cordell Buhl. Survivors include 3 Sons: Roger (Bonnie) Bull of Gainesboro, TN, Willie (Syndi) Bull of Corinth, MS, and William (Nichole) Buhl of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Darcy (Dan) Rowe of Fairview, TN; 11 Grandchildren: Kevin (Tiffany) Bull, Savannah (Shane) Choate, Miranda (Scott) O'Dell, Natalie (Gabe) Blair, Franklin (Brooke) Austin, Jamie Austin, Zona (Nick Harvey) Austin, Nathan (Joey Qualls) Ford, Cody (Jacmine) Maynard, Velina Maynard, and Blake Hood; 18 Great Grandchildren: Angel, Breanna, Dillon, Makayla, Zachary, Isabel, Caitlyn, Ryan, Callie, Beau, Philip, Cloe, Maddie, Sophia, Brooklyn, Dayton, Carson, and Melea; and 2 Sisters: Carolyn Smith of Bremen, GA, and Cricket (Garry) Austin of Baxter, TN.
