Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Margaret Sircy Smith, 68, of Algood, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, October 8, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in the New Hope community. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Saturday from 11 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at her residence. She was born November 26, 1947, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Lester "Cat" Sircy and Mamie Ray Sircy. She worked in home health care. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Hugh Sircy; and 2 Sisters: Janie Sircy and Barbara A. Sircy Heady. Survivors include 2 Sons: Michael (Shawn) Smith of Algood, TN, and Shane Smith of Cookeville, TN; 1 Grandchild: Evan Smith of Cookeville, TN; the Father of her Children: Bob Smith of Cookeville, TN; and 1 Sister: Carolyn Allen of Algood, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Smith family by contacting the funeral home.
