Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Jane McGee Reeder, 79, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Flynn Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Saturday from 8 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born October 30, 1938, in Jackson County, TN, to the late James Henderson "J.H." McGee and Sally Cordia McGee. She was married to the late Dorman D. Reeder, who passed away September 13, 2008. She was a garment factory worker, and a member of the Sugar Creek Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Richard L. Reeder; 2 Brothers; and 1 Sister. Survivors include 1 Son: Randall Leon Reeder of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter-in-Law: Kimberly Ann Reeder of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Maria Ann Reeder Short of Gainesboro, TN, and Lucas Randall Reeder of Cookeville, TN; 2 Great Grandchildren: Madison Brook and Hailey Renee Short; and 3 Sisters: Virginia Boles of Gainesboro, TN, Pauline Ledbetter of Dayton, OH, and Mildred Michael of Allen Park, MI. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. Memorial donations may be made to the Flynn Cemetery or the donor's favorite charity by contacting the funeral home.
