Sarah Caruthers

Sarah Loreene Stafford Caruthers was born April 21, 1933 and she passed away on Friday,  January 6, 2023 at her residence in Gainesboro at the age of 89. 

She was the daughter of Ed and Rose Moss Stafford.  Mrs. Caruthers was a homemaker and was a member of the Dudney Hill Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Mr. Donald Caruthers who passed away January 6, 2004 and two sisters.

Survivors include her son, Bruce Allen Caruthers of Gainesboro; daughters, Donna Jaqualin Bush of FL, Jennifer Lee Taylor of FL, Kandi Lynn Faulkner of Gainesboro, Sarah Kelli Fielding of FL and Beverly Katherine Caruthers of Gainesboro. 8 Grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.  Other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 9, 2023, 4-8 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 with Bro. Lakelan Barham officiating.  Burial will follow in Stafford Cemetery located at 11210 Dodson Branch Hwy, Gainesboro, TN.
