Sandy G. Spurlock

Funeral services for Sandy G. Spurlock, 57, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, August 19, 2012, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 Noon until 9 P.M., and on Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at her residence in the Old Antioch community. She was born December 6, 1954, in Jackson County, TN, to Dorothy Henson Locke and the late Jim T. Locke. She was a housewife, and a member of the Burristown Church of Christ. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Jack D. Locke; 1 Sister: Debbie Hensley; her Paternal Grandparents: Charlie and Lena Locke; and her Maternal Grandparents: Harvey and Georgia Henson. Survivors include her Companion: Johnny J. Jones, Sr. of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Phillip Spurlock of Mississippi; 1 Daughter: Angie Spurlock of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Grandchildren: MaKenzie Mize, Nick Mize, and Kylie Poston; her Mother: Dorothy Henson Locke of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Brothers: Landon (Janice) Locke, David Locke, and Danny (Penny) Locke, all of Gainesboro, TN; and Harold (Remy) Locke of Fayetteville, NC; 1 Brother-in-Law: Richard Hensley of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Sisters-in-Law: Bonnie Locke and Connie Locke of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
