Funeral services for Mrs. Sandra Barnett 74, of Baxter, TN, will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, July 3, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Double Springs Cemetery in the Double Springs community of Putnam County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 P.M. until time of services. She passed away on Friday, July 1, 2016, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born January 5, 1942, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Logan and Sarah Jane Brown. She was married to the late Don Barnett, who passed away on May 25, 2007. She was a homemaker and a member of the Union Hill Church of Christ. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Eldon Brown; and 5 Sisters: Carol Atwood, Jewell Brown, Molly Lineberry, Frances Pharris, and Kerry Fields. Survivors include 1 Son: Neil (Dove) Barnett of Baxter, TN; 1 Daughter: Donna Barnett of Baxter, TN; 1 Grandson: Donovan Barnett of Baxter, TN; 1 Brother: Homer T. Brown of Cookeville, TN; and 1 Sister: Louise Mundy of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Lane Pippin, Bro. Charles Maxwell, and Bro.
