Sally Foster

Sally Foster was born August 2, 1934 in Jackson County, TN and she passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro at the age of 86. She was the daughter of Harline Mitchell and Avie Angeline Mitchell. She was married to Lionel (Lee) Foster who passed away May 8, 2006. She was a member of the Antioch Church of Christ and retired from Sam's Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Charles and Bobby Mitchell, four sisters, Helen Miller, Katherine Stewart, Hattie Carlile and Judy Mitchell. Survivors include two sons, Doug (Tammy) Foster of Murfreesboro, Derek (Tara) Foster of Mobile, AL; brother, Billy Mitchell of Bloomington Springs; sister, Toyetta Hensley of Bloomington Springs, grandchildren, Aaron, Austin, Harrison, Conner and Grant Foster. Visitation will be Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 5-8 pm and again on Sunday from 12-2 pm. Funeral Services will be Sunday, August 30, 2020 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. John Mabry officiating. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Byers Cemetery by contacting the funeral home.
