Ruth Sue Byers

Ruth Sue Byers was born April 22, 1934, in Jackson County, TN, and she passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Lifecare Center of Sparta, TN, at the age of 88.

She was the daughter of the late Charlie Herd Stafford and Rose Lena Stafford. She was a shirt factory worker, and a member of the Baptist Church. She was a resident of Silver Point, TN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Daughters: Robbie Juanita Wotten and Brenda Gale Threat; Son: Dawson Lee Byers, Jr.; and Brothers: Luke, Ray, and Billy Stafford.

Survivors include her Sister: Sarah Herren of Silver Point, TN; Grandchildren: Bryan Wotten, Robert Lee Byers, Jeremy Byers, and Vallerie Byers; and 6 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at 2 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Bro. Danny Scott will officiate. Burial will follow in the Alex Byers Cemetery in Putnam County, TN. Visitation will be Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services.
