Ruth Mayberry

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Mayberry, 71, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Sunday, November 26, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, Tennessee. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 - 9 P.M. and Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mrs. Mayberry passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2006, at the Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born August 23, 1935, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late William Bill Allen & Myrtle Nancy Mayberry Allen. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by 1 Son; 4 Brothers: Tom Allen, Virgil Allen, Kenneth Allen, and Joey Mayberry; and 1 Grandchild. Survivors include 1 Son; 2 Daughters: Nancy Veria (Jeff) Lee of Baxter, TN, and Jeanette Brown of Livingston, TN; and 1 Brother: Robert Mayberry of Baxter, TN. 22 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild also survive.
