Ruth Harper Pruett

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Harper Pruett, 89, of Vanleer, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery in the Flynns Lick community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3 P.M. - 9 P. M., and Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2010, at her residence. She was born June 30, 1920, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Henry Clay and Betty Netherton Harper. She was a factory worker, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Infant Brother. Survivors include 1 Brother: J.B. Harper of Cookeville, TN; and 2 Sisters: Mary Sue Miller of Erlanger, KY, and Georgia Norris of Vanleer, TN. Bro. Rex Moorer will officiate at the services.
