Graveside services for Mrs. Ruth Draper Quarles, 89, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, March 15, 2012, at the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home. She passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, in Nashville, TN. She was born April 9, 1922, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Joseph Jones Draper and Edna Gaines Draper. She was married to the late Lee Sadler Quarles. She was a retired manager of the Quarles Department Store. She was a graduate of Jackson County High School and David Lipscomb Junior College. She was a member of the Gainesboro Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Ward Draper and 2 Sisters: Jo Helen Webb and Nell Howington. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Carolyn (Tom) McDonald of Nashville, TN; 1 Granddaughter: Meredith (Mike) Stewart of Nashville, TN; 1 Grandson: Mark (Carey) McDonald of Nashville, TN; 1 Great-Grandson: Hudson Stewart of Nashville, TN.
