Ruby Pearl Morgan

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Pearl Morgan, 82, of Hilham, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, October 7, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in the New Hope community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4 P.M. - 9 P. M., and Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Morgan passed away on Friday, October 5, 2007, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born April 20, 1925, in Overton County, TN, to the late Simon Hinds "Dock" and Modelia Loftis Masters. On November 25, 1942, she was married to the late U.L. Morgan, who passed away April 24, 1989. She was a retired factory worker and a member of the New Hope Community Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Sisters: Allie Mae White and Alvie C. Coffman; and 1 Great-Grandson: Zachary Morgan. Survivors include 2 Sons: Earl and Nettie Morgan of Cookeville, TN; and Kenneth and Anita Morgan of Cookeville, TN; 3 Daughters: Margie and Doug Hinson of Hilham, TN; Georgia and Carl Wheeler of Cookeville, TN; and Joyce and Melvin Cronk of Rickman, TN; 10 Grandchildren: Steve Morgan, Kenny and Elena Morgan, Sandy Cronk, Kevin and Lisa Cronk, Kelly Wheeler, Marty and Tammy Hinson, Tammy and Jamie Crockett, Vickie Morgan, Brian and Emily Morgan, and Scottie Hinson; 16 Great-Grandchildren; and 3 Sisters: Lurabelle Dailey, Annie B. Masters, and Jewel Bilbrey. Bro. Phillip Morgan, Bro. Mike Ayers, and Bro. H.S. Brown will officiate at the services. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
