Ruby Lea Richardson

Ruby Lea Stafford Richardson was born on Friday, August 13, 1943 in Jackson County, TN and she passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Mabry Healthcare and Rehab in Gainesboro at the age of 78. She was the daughter of Bill Edward Stafford and Betty Olene Boles Stafford. She was married to Kenneth R. Richardson who passed away on July 28, 2016. Mrs. Ruby was a retired factory worker and a member of the Lakeview Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth R. Richardson, son, Randall Richardson and sister, Pat Rector. Survivors include son, Danny (Renae) Richardson of Gainesboro; daughters, Donna (Shelby) Bryant of Gainesboro and Lisa (Ray) Buck of Hilham; brother, Dan Stafford of Gainesboro; sisters, Faye Stafford of Cookeville and JoAnn Williams of Gainesboro; 6 grandchildren, Jordan Bryant, Tiffany (Josh) Savage, Travis Bryant, Kelsie (Johnny) Stafford, Marissa Richardson, and McKenzie Savage; 4 great-grandchildren, Caleb Savage, Baylen Savage, Knox Bryant and Bailey Stafford. Other relatives and many friends also survive. Visitation will be on Saturday, April 9, 2022, 4-8 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home and again on Sunday 12 noon to 2 pm. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 pm on Sunday, April 10, 2022 in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with grandson Jordan Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Lakeview Church of Christ by contacting the business office of the funeral home.
