Ruby L. Trisdale

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby L. Trisdale, 89, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, April 19, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born July 2, 1929, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Quarles Head and Mae Head. She was an LPN, and a member of the Dudneys Hill Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Louise Spivey; 1 Brother: Curtis J. Head; 2 Grandchildren: Chris Martin and Julie Martin; and the Father of her Children: Gene Trisdale. Survivors include 2 Daughters: Jenny (Danny) Martin of Gainesboro, TN, and Kay (Rob) Jordan of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Dalton and Cory; 4 Brothers: Joe Head, Edis Head, Dwayne Head, and Willard Head, all of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister: Judy McDowell of Gainesboro, TN. Bro. Sam Mainord will officiate at the services. Memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation by contacting the funeral home.
