Ruby Fox Ward

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Elizabeth Fox Ward, 83, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 P.M. - 9 P. M., and Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born June 14, 1929, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Albert Lee Fox and Dora Flatt Fox. On December 18, 1952, she was married to the late Charlie William Ward, who passed away August 4, 2011. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Grandchild: Robert William Ward; 3 Brothers: Carl, Aaron, and Robert Fox; 4 Sisters: Mary Ann Daniels and 3 infant sisters. Survivors include 3 Sons: Tommy Ward, and his wife, Linda, Wayne Ward and his wife, Darlene, and Roger Ward and his special friend, Karen, all of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Virginia and her husband, Henry Frizzell of Gainesboro, TN; 8 Grandchildren: Crystal (Shane) Keith, Amanda Stafford, Justin Frank (Crystal) Ward, Rebecca (Jim) Wimberly, Elizabeth (Joey) Phillips, Faith Henshaw, David Frizzell, and Cordell Frizell; 9 Great-Grandchildren: Devin (Shelby) Keith, Seth Keith, Isaiah and Hannah Stafford, Marlie Ward, Caleb and Emma Wimberly, and Jeremiah and Abigail Phillips; and 2 Brothers: James Fox and his wife, Jeanette Fox of Alabama; and Lewis Fox of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Sisters: Lena and husband, Jack Moore of Kentucky and Opal Robinson of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson, Bro. Duane Gossett, and Bro. Matthew Scoggins will officiate at the services.
