Ruby Allen Anderson

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Ella Allen Anderson, 101, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, April 13, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3 P.M. - 7 P. M., and on Thursday from 12 noon until time of services. Mrs. Anderson passed away on Monday, April 10, 2006, at her daughter's residence in Castalian Springs, Tennessee. She was born April 2, 1905, in Gainesboro to the late Daniel Dank Allen and Moda Way Allen. On December 24, 1922, she was married to the late Oliver Anderson, who passed away on June 9, 1974. Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker, and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Ray Anderson; 2 Sons- in-law: Odell Bybee and Bob Hall; 4 Brothers: Carlos, Arthur, Lester & Bryan Allen; 2 Sisters: Het Clark & Myrtle Robinson; and 3 Great Grandchildren: Jennifer, Melissa & Melanie Yankee. Survivors include 3 Daughters and 1 Son-in-Law: Doris Bybee of Gainesboro, TN, Irene & Nelson Yankee of Castalian Springs, TN, and Elise Hall of Gallatin, TN; 1 Daughter-in-law: Elease Anderson of Cookeville, TN; 9 Grandchildren: Wayne Hall, Ronald (Peggy) Hall, Elaine (Jerry) Hunter, Beth Cooper, Philip (Cynthia) Yankee, Eldon (Carolyn) Yankee, Marcella (Raymond) Bentley, Nancy Bybee, and Donna Anderson; 14 Great - Grandchildren; 8 Great - Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
