Rozelle Cole

Funeral services for Mrs. Rozelle Cole, 91, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born June 25, 1923, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Nathan Montgomery and Maggie Jones Montgomery. On June 21, 1945, she was married to the late George Ralph Cole. She was a homemaker and worked for UCHRA. She was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 5 Brothers: Robert, Herbert, Fred, Elmer, and Harrison Montgomery; 1 Sister: Geneva Montgomery; and 1 Foster Brother: Doxie Jackson. Survivors include 2 Sons: Raymond Dale and Gail Cole of Cookeville, TN, and Gary Allan and Candy Cole of Summer Shade, KY; 1 Daughter: Sue and Philip Gibbons of Algood, TN; Caregiver Angel: Carol Mitchell of Cookeville, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Amy and Tim Glass of Dickson, TN, Leslie Cole of Murfreesboro, TN, Julie Gibbons of Cookeville, TN, Leann and Joey Huddleston of Byrdstown, TN; 2 Great Grandchildren: Hope Huddleston and Gabriel Cole; Special Friend: Ina Mae Plumlee of Cookeville, TN; and Special Pet: Allie.
