Funeral services for Mr. Roy Wilburn Lynn, 51, of Gallatin, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, July 26, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Willette Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Willette, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Sunday from 12 Noon until time of services. Mr. Lynn passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2009, at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. He was born August 10, 1957, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Sanford and Sarah Clark Lynn. He was a carpet and floor installer, and truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: Roy Wilburn Lynn, Jr.; 4 Brothers: James Edward, Ray Clark, Ace L., and Aaron L. Lynn; and 1 Sister: Diana Lynn. Survivors include 2 Sons: Frankie Lynn and Daniel Lynn, both of Michigan; 2 Daughters: Allison Lynn and Tiphani Lynn, both of Montana; 3 Grandchildren: Joshua, Lucas, and Landen Lynn; 2 Brothers: Sanford David (Geraldine) Lynn of Gainesboro, TN, and Alvin Lynn of Lebanon, TN; 5 Sisters: Dorothy Shepard of Pegram, TN, Donnetta Shepard of Nashville, TN, Katherine Lanette of Nashville, TN, Brenda Mitchell of Gallatin, TN, and Linda (Thomas) Law of Westmoreland, TN; 1 Sister-in-Law: Ann Lynn of Gainesboro, TN; and his Uncle and Aunt: Corbitt Clark and Vida Mae Clark, of Gallatin, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Pastor Bobby Webb will officiate at the services.
