Roy Dennis

Roy Dennis was born August 3, 1954 in Jackson County, TN and he passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020 at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro at the age of 66. Mr. Roy was the son of James Frank Dennis and Retta Elise Strong Dennis. He was a factory worker at Eaton Corp in Gainesboro and a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Rickey Dennis and brother-in-law, Jim Gentry. Survivors include two sons, Jason Dennis of Gainesboro and Jamie (Jennifer) Dennis of Gallatin; sisters, Judy (Eddie) Collins and Ann Gentry both of Gainesboro; six grandchildren, Ryan Dennis, Noah Vaden, Caleb Dennis, Dylan Hayworth, Whitaker Dennis and Annie Dennis; special friends, Randy and Lisa Sullivan and children and grandchildren of Gainesboro. Many nieces and nephews also survive along with many friends. Memorial services will be conducted on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 2 PM at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating.
