Funeral services for Mrs. Rosie May Tackett, 85, of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, will be held at 12 Noon on Sunday, May 18, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Keith Bilbrey Cemetery in North Springs, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 A.M. - 9 P.M., and on Sunday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. She was born March 11, 1929, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Frank Richardson and Emma Jean Richardson. She was married to the late Raymond Earl Tackett, who passed away April 20, 1981. She was a housewife, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Benton, Francis, and Robert Richardson; and 1 Sister: Roxie Hensley. Survivors include 3 Sons: Gino (Sherry) Tackett-May of Jamestown, TN, David (Becky) Tackett of Moss, TN, and Joseph Tackett of Carthage, TN; 3 Daughters: Kathy (Michael) Duffer of Lafayette, TN, Marie (Eddie) Stewart of Scottsville, KY, and Cora (Jonathan) Marchwinski of Gallatin, TN; 3 Brothers: Roger (Janet) Richardson of Nashville, TN, Kenneth (Ruby) Richardson of Gainesboro, TN, and Gene Richardson of Willette, TN; 4 Sisters: Jewell Mefford of Ft. Sumter, S.C., Sue Brown of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Ruth (Larry) York of Red Boiling Springs, TN, and Judy ( Melvin) Daniels of Watertown, TN; 11 Grandchildren; and 12 Great Grandchildren. Bro.
