Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Carlile Barlow, 90, of the Burristown community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 12 P.M. on Thursday, November 18, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson Co. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 A.M. - 9 P.M. and on Thursday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Barlow passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2004, at the Mabry Health Care and Rehab Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born November 10, 1914, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Oliver Carlile and Prille Hooten Carlile. She was married to the late Robert (Rob) Barlow, who passed away on November 10, 1994. Mrs. Barlow was a housewife and a member of the Poston Chapel Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by 1 Son: Malcolm Barlow; 1 Sister: Ivory Pyron; 1 Brother: Ray Carlile; and 1 Great-Grandson: Kyle Sisco. Her family includes 4 Sons and Daughters-in-Law: Cecil and Betty Barlow of Rickman, TN, Shirley and Barbara Barlow of Gainesboro, TN, Sheldon and Barbara (Bobbie) Barlow of Livingston, TN, and Billy and Cora Barlow of Plant City, Florida; 1 Brother: Earl Carlile of Michigan; 2 Sisters: Anna Ruth Scantland of Cookeville, TN, and Norma Smith of Cookeville, TN. 11 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
