Roscoe P. Mayberry

Roscoe P. Mayberry was born November 27, 1947 in Jackson County, TN and he passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Overton County Health and Rehab in Livingston at the age of 75.

Mr. Roscoe was the son of Raymond and Ruby Mabery Mayberry.  He was retired from Fleetguard Company with over 30 years of employment and a veteran of the US Army.  He was a resident of the Rickman Community of Overton County.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Mayberry, brothers, Charles Mayberry, Aaron Mayberry and  James Mayberry; sisters, Margaret Scott and Kathy Payne.

Survivors include sons,  Roscoe Mayberry, Jr.  of Cookeville and Travis Mayberry of Rickman, TN, daughter, Karen (Kyle) Brown of Cookeville; brothers, Ray Mayberry, Dennis Mayberry and Mike Mayberry; sisters, Juanita Judd, Clema Scanlon, Jeanette Stewart and Shirley Kinnaird; special niece, Lisa Stewart; grandchildren, Joshua Carr, Cody Mayberry, Mason Mayberry, Alex Brown and Alana Brown; great grandchildren,  Joshua Carr,  Jada Carr, Judah Carr, Sophia Mayberry, Bentley Mayberry and Oaklynn Mayberry.  Other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 19, 2023,  4-8 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home and Monday 9 am till 11 am.  

Funeral Services will be conducted, Monday, March 20, 2023 at 11 am in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home.  Bro. Bill Haney will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in Dodson Branch Cemetery.
