Ronnie Skipper

Graveside services for Ronnie Skipper, 73, of the Bullards Creek Community of Jackson County, TN, will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020, at 1 P.M. at the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. Bro Eric Cremeans will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 A.M. - 12:45 P.M. at the funeral home. He passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020, at his residence. He was born April 7, 1947, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Ithel Levi Skipper and Minnie Frances Minchey Skipper. He worked as a credit manager in Nashville for many years, and was a founding member of the Tennessee Longhunters (muzzle loading gun club). Ronnie graduated from East Nashville High School and Magna Cum Laude from Middle Tennessee State University. He also served in the U.S. Navy as an avionics mechanic and aircrewmen. He had a deep love for Jackson County and for his family. Survivors include Son, Zach Skipper (daughter-in-law, Haley Brooke Skipper) of Birmingham, AL; Daughter, Lindsay Brunner (son-in-law, Robert Rowlett) of Manchester, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Hannah, Sawyer, and Jackson; 1 Sister: Patricia Haffner of Columbia, TN; Nephew, Henry Haffner (wife, Lisa Haffner); Special Cousin: Donna Baggett; other relatives, and many friends.
