Funeral services for Ronnie Scott, 41, of the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN, will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 1 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., with Masonic Service at 6 P.M. Visitation will also be Saturday from 11 A.M. until time of services. His sunset was Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at his residence. His sunrise was October 27, 1979, in Jackson County, TN, to Genie Mae Scott and the late Charles Ward Scott. On December 12, 2015, he was married to Amanda Nicole Scott, who survives. He was the technology director of the Jackson County School System. He was a member of the Tannehill Lodge #133 Free Masons, Boy Scouts, and the Church of Christ. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Angelia Scott. Survivors include his Wife: Amanda Nicole Scott of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Logan Macklin of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Iris Macklin of Gainesboro, TN; his Mother: Genie Mae Scott of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Sisters: Lisa Rivera of Ontario, CA, and Davenna J. Weathers of Trona, CA. Terry Plemons will officiate at the services.
