Ronnie J. Allen

Mr. Ronnie J. Allen was born April 10, 1950 in Jackson County, TN and he passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at his residence in Gainesboro at the age of 70. He was the son of Donald Ervin Allen and Ruth Meadows Allen. He retired from TRW in Lebanon and enjoyed NASCAR racing and deer hunting. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Thirise Allen and brother, Gary Travis Allen. Survivors include his wife Janet Roberts Allen of Gainesboro; son, Ricky (Christie) Allen of Gainesboro; daughter, Kristi (Anthony) Brown of Gainesboro; four grandchildren, Dylan (Cameron) Brown, Chelsea Brown, MaKayla Allen and Hayden Allen. Special brother in law, Jimmy Roberts also survives along with other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be on Friday, August 14, 2020, 4-8 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home and again on Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 1 pm in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the New Salem Cemetery.
