Roger Osborne

Graveside services for Mr. Roger Osborne 67, of Hazard, Kentucky will be held at 11 A.M. on December 23, 2014 at the New Hope Cemetery in the New Hope community of Jackson County, TN. There will be no services or visitation at the funeral home. He passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Brones Nursing Home in Greenbush, Minnesota. He was born on January 1, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Roy and Mallie Osborne. He worked with the forestry service and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Roy and Mallie Osborne; 1 Son: Roger Osborne, Jr.; 1 Sister: Carol Osborne; and 4 Brothers: Richard, Ruben, R.C., and Roland Osborne. He is survived by 2 Daughters: Pamela Sue Osborne (Michael) Wasill of Gainesboro, TN and Wanda Faye Osborne of Greenbush, Minnesota; 1 Brother: Ruey Osborne of Geneva, Illinois; 3 Sisters: Reba Poe, Marie Stidham, and Frances Brock all of Geneva, Illinois; 8 Grandchildren: Michael Hamlet, Anthony Hamlet, Katilyn Hamlet, Donny Hamlet, and Shantel Caruthers, all of Gainesboro, TN; and Abby Fitts, Christian Hamilton, and Christin Hamilton, all of Greenbush, MN; and 2 Great -Grandchildren.
