Funeral services for Mr. Roger Lynn Pippin, 53, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Thursday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Monday, June 4, 2012 at the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. He was born March 19, 1959, in Jackson County, TN, to Henry and Lora Clinton Pippin. On March 28, 1998, he was married to Anita Bullock Pippin, who survives. He retired from Nielsen & Bainbridge and was a member of the Shiloh Church of Christ. Survivors include his Wife: Anita Bullock Pippin of Jackson County, TN; 4 Daughters and 2 Son-in-laws: Kaitlyn Pippin, Jennifer Pippin, Jacqulyn (Justin) Medlin, and Jaime (Jimmy) Henson, all of Jackson County, TN; his Parents: Henry Pippin and Lora Clinton Pippin of Jackson County, TN; 2 Brothers: Steve Pippin and Scottie Pippin, both of Jackson County, TN; 2 Sisters: Tammy Pippin and Tina Netherton, both of Jackson County, TN; and 7 Grandchildren: Jessie, Jarred, Joseph, Jaylen, Jaycie, Jayda, and Jett.
